We got such a great deal on a cabin this year that the cost of this weekend has actually gone DOWN from previous years! The cost of the trip includes: Room (we'll have a condo that sleeps up to 14 people, there will be beds & fold-out couches), Gas (we'll be carpooling), Breakfast - Saturday and Sunday, Dinner - Saturday, Lift ticket - Saturday.

The Derby doesn't start until 10:00pm so we'll be meeting at the Palms Center Bar to get ready for our skating extravaganza! Rain Nightclub and Palms Casino Resort host the ultimate retro-inspired roller skating disco party "Down and Derby." Its $5 to rent a pair of skates or you can bring your own. They encourage attendees to dress-up, that means afro's and pink tights preferred. The party will take us back to our High School days when we use to meet our friends at the nearest roller skating rink.

This year Valentine's Day is on a Sunday so we're going back to our very first Anti Valentine's Day event! ...How's this for a great Anti Valentine's Day: We're going to the gun range for a little Cupid target practice. Our former members Chris & Veronica Hines have invited us over to their ranch for a very cool Superbowl Party (Just as much fun as his Halloween party!) We'll be watching the game & there will be a betting pool available too (so bring cash if you think you can guess the scores.) It's gonna be a great game - New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts. Let's do the Time Warp Again!!! Divine Decadance has brought back the Rocky Horror Picture Show the way it was meant to be experienced. Back up on the big screen, with stadium style seating and your favorite characters performing for you LIVE! The show starts at 1130, so we'll meet for a pre-party cocktail and then head on over to the theatre. Costumes aren't required, but they do bring a little bit more fun to the experience.

Think You're a Genius? Brainstormers Pub Trivia is a Live trivia game where we will complete in a battle of the minds to be crowned the smartest. Let's put on our thinking caps, come up with the best name ever and wipe the floor of this competition.

So who wants to learn how to swing? They offer free lessons every Wednesday, so let's check it out. Lessons start at 630, but we'll get there a little early to gain a table.

What are Flight Line Adventures? Flightlines are like ziplines on steriods. There is no comparison. With flightlines, there is the possibility of flying up to 60 m.p.h. as you soar from the top of Red Mountain in Bootleg Canyon Park to the mountain base on Nevada's first ever zip-line adventure. The cost to go is normally $149, but we are getting it for $120. There is a limited number of slots available so make sure to sign up early. There is a weight restriction, so you must be between 75 and 250 lbs to sign up. Casual clothing is recommended. You will be flying over a canyon, so please make sure you have no loose items on your person, as they may be lost. Tennis shoes or hiking shoes are highly recommended. Sandals, slippers, flats, cowboy boots, or high heals are strongly NOT recommended.

Have you ever gotten lost in a corn maze? Me neither. The Glendale corn maze converts itself into a haunted maze for the Halloween season and we thought this might be a great way to get into the holiday spirits.

We are joining up with Tennis Habitat for an afternoon of tennis and socialization. Desert Palms Tennis Center is opening their doors to us and loaning us a tennis pro for an afternoon of lessons and round robins. If you have a racket please bring it, if you don't, don't worry about it, we will have some available. This event will be a BYOB and potluck. So bring a picnicy food and your favorite beverage as we mingle with the tennis pro's of Desert Palms and Tennis Habitat and hopefully learn a thing or two. Let's end the summer with a bang! We'll be heading down to Glen Canyon in Arizona for a weekend of camping, hiking and white water rafting down the Colorado River. The cost of the trip includes transportation, campsite fees, white water rafting and meals. If you don't have camping equipment don't worry, there should be enough to go around, but make sure to bring a sleeping bag.

It's paint your own pottery time! The Artful Potter has over 600 different ceramic pieces to chose from. You then create your own design from their collection of stencils, stamps and paints. Have you always wanted to try mountain biking but you don't have a bike or you don't know where to go? Then you're invited to ride in beautiful Red Rock Canyon. The class will cover you the following:
